Q:  What time is the service and how long does it last?

A:  The service starts at 9:30 am on Sundays at Faith Lutheran Church, 801 FM 517E, Dickinson, TX

Q:  Is communion served every Sunday?

A:  Yes, Holy communion is served every Sunday.

Q:  Is there Sunday School?

A:   Sunday School is during the first half of the church service, then children join their parents.

Adult Sunday School at 8 am. Bible Study follows worship.

Q:  How does the church interact with the community?

A:  The church allows a local cookier to hold classes in the Fellowship Hall because she is raising money for charity with  

      her classes.

      The Galveston County Sherriff's Department has used the church to carry out its Christmas gift giving program.

      Members of the church provide gifts for children for Dickinson's Empty Stocking Program each December.

      The church collects and distributes non-perishables for local food banks. 

      The church participates in Dickinson's Empty Stocking program, working with other churches in the community to bring  

      Christams to local families.

      The church collects hotel-sized toiletries to distribute at weekly street clinics in Galveston.

      Free Eats & Treats event at Halloween.

     Easter Egg hunt scheduled during the Easter season, open to all.

     Camp VBS will be held for a full week June 2026, run by volunteers from Faith. Email                    faithlutherancommunity@gmail.com for a registration form for your 5-12 year old.
